Social Exercise by Joakim Eide displays four soft and performative sculptures, where the gallery transforms into a speculative gym to work out heavy burdens. During the exhibition at Galleri Taxi (2025), visitors were invited to Open Gym Sessions (2025) to essentially, work it out! By using the four soft sculptures that resembles workout gear. And to leave their burdens at the gym, by filling out forms with weights, amounts and heavy burdens. The collected information, reflections and documentation was used as material for the fanzine Social Exercise (2026).
